Student Employment

Based on your FAFSA, you may be offered a Federal Work-Study (FWS) position in your financial aid package. Non-FWS positions are also available to all students to help them earn income during their time at Emory. These positions provide both a practical resource for contributing to the cost of education and a valuable opportunity to gain work experience. Exploring Open Positions

Students can search open jobs using Handshake, a virtual jobs board managed by Emory's Career Center and Pathways Center. Handshake provides information about both FWS and non-FWS student employment opportunities.

Federal Work Study positions open earnings will be deposited into your personal bank account via direct deposit and will not be posted to your student account. The FWS team also hosts a Federal Work-Study Job Fair every August, during which students can learn more about the FWS program and specific opportunities.
