Steps to Apply for Financial Aid

Complete the Profile

Complete and submit the College Scholarship Service Profile.  This application is required in addition to the FAFSA to be considered for University need-based grant and scholarship programs.  Emory requires a Profile application from both biological, or adoptive parents, in cases of divorce, separation or where the parents never married.

Make sure you select the Emory Profile code 5187 before exiting the registration process. This code is needed for Emory to receive your Profile results.

The Profile application requires a fee. Profile registrations are not transferable from year-to-year. You may pay by credit/debit card or electronic check when completing the online application. If you qualify for a fee waiver, it will be done automatically online by the College Scholarship Service.

It takes about one week from the time you submit your Profile application for your information to be delivered electronically to Emory. After the initial submission, any changes to your Profile must be submitted directly to Emory.

For more information on completing the Profile, please see the College Board website.
