Emory Alumni Board Leadership Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate and graduate students. To apply, undergraduate applicants must have completed at least two semesters at Emory or Oxford; graduate applicants must have completed one semester at Emory. Scholarship selection is based on a student's merit, and financial aid will be strongly considered.  The scholarship is now open to international students not eligible for financial aid. These students must fill out a questionnaire in addition to the regular application.

Oratorical Contest

The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Since 1938, the program has presented participants with an academic speaking challenge that teaches important leadership qualities, the history of our nation’s laws, the ability to think and speak clearly, and an understanding of the duties, responsibilities, rights and privileges of American citizenship.

National Merit Scholarship Program

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. The Mediacom Scholarship Program

Headphone Selection Annual Scholarship Program

This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a new applicant annually and must be used towards the cost of your education. Annual Create-A-Greeting Card $10,000 Scholarships Contest

The Annual Create-A-Greeting-Card $10,000 Scholarship Contest is open to High School Senior, college, and graduate students. Regis L Mullin Accident Injury Scholarship

A scholarship for students who lost a family member or whose family member they depended on was seriously injured or disabled due to another’s negligence, and this loss or injury is affecting the student’s ability to pay for or attend college. It is also open to a student who was injured or debilitated in an accident or injury caused by someone else and needs assistance to pay for school.

Scholarship Amount: $2,500

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicant must reside in the United States and have lost a family member or have had a family member they depend on seriously injured due to another’s negligence, or have been injured or debilitated in an accident or injury caused by someone else.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0.
  • Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation, one from a professor/teacher, one from a non-relative/non-peer.
  • Applicant must have demonstrable financial need.

Army ROTC Scholarships

Whether you're a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and overall grade point average. Army ROTC scholarships are not awarded based on a student’s financial needs. This scholarship is offered through Georgia Tech, and is available to students who are dual-enrolled at Georgia Tech and Emory.

The Pisacano Scholars Leadership Program provides educational programs, leadership training, and funding for outstanding fourth-year medical students for a four-year period.  Students must make a commitment to the specialty of family medicine.  The funding program is designed to reimburse a portion of medical school debt incurred by the student by the conclusion of the required three-year residency.  The Foundation is especially interested in students who exhibit the highest levels of skill, compassion, and leadership.  A firm and continuing commitment to the specialty of family medicine is an essential precedent for any applicant to receive a Pisacano Scholarship.

DAAD Grants for Study and Research

This specialized DAAD program offers German Studies Research Grants to highly-qualified undergraduate and graduate students who are nominated by their department/program chairs. The grant may be used for short-term research (one to two months) in Germany. The program is designed to encourage research and promote the study of cultural, political, historical, economic and social aspects of modern and contemporary German affairs from an inter- and multidisciplinary perspective.

Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowship

The Graduate Fellowship Award is based on merit (not need) and consists of a cost-of-education allowance and a personal-support stipend. Hertz Fellows therefore have no liability for any ordinary educational costs, regardless of their choice among participating schools.

National Physical Science Consortium

Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship

Since 1995, SHAPE America has awarded scholarships to outstanding undergraduate and graduate student members. The Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship, developed by the past presidents of SHAPE America to honor deserving students, is awarded to three undergraduate students and two graduate students in January of each year.
